New Employee Spotlight: James Jack, Head of BioPharma Partnerships at Trial Library

We’re thrilled to welcome James Jack to the Trial Library team as our new Head of BioPharma Partnerships. With a background that spans the lab bench, real world data, and commercial strategy, James brings a rare combination of scientific fluency and market insight to our mission of expanding access to cancer clinical trials.

James began his career as a bench scientist, working in immunochemistry, sequencing, and diagnostics before transitioning into sales, first selling the services he once performed, and later moving into commercial roles at IQVIA and Tempus AI. His journey into clinical research and precision medicine has been guided by a deep respect for the intersection of scientific discovery and its real-world application in patient care.

In his role at Trial Library, James is focused on building strategic partnerships with biopharma and positioning our platform as the go-to solution for addressing the industry's most persistent challenges: clinical trial enrollment and retention. Known for his thoughtful, outcome-driven approach, James prioritizes aligning stakeholders by working backwards from their goals and identifying shared points of value.

He’s particularly energized by Trial Library’s unique approach to solving real barriers in clinical trials—not just casting a wider net, but equipping partners with tools and insights that go deeper to improve access, diversity, and outcomes.

Outside of work, James finds inspiration in the game of chess, where strategy, sequencing, and constant learning play a central role, values that shape how he approaches business development and collaboration.

Fun fact: His name, James Jack, regularly earns a double take, especially since he’s technically James Jack, Jr.

Join us in welcoming James to the Trial Library team!
