We’re thrilled to welcome Karim Damji to the Trial Library team as our new Chief Product Officer. With over two decades of experience driving growth and innovation in digital health and health tech, Karim brings a unique blend of strategic leadership, product insight, and startup success to our mission.
Karim has been a founding team member at multiple high-impact ventures, including Verana Health, Relentless Health, Saama Technologies, MobileIron, and DiVitas Networks. His career has spanned AI innovation, M&A leadership, and product transformation—all with a consistent focus on using technology to solve healthcare’s hardest problems. As an advisor, board member, and angel investor, he’s helped scale early-stage health-tech companies into sustainable, high-growth organizations.
What drew Karim to Trial Library is our human-centered approach to solving access and equity challenges in clinical research. “Trial Library is doing the hard thing—not just throwing tech at the problem,” he says. “I was inspired by the mission and the passion of the team. This was a simple decision after meeting everyone.”
In his role, Karim is focused on transforming Trial Library into a product-led growth organization, ensuring our tools deliver measurable impact for patients, providers, and sponsors. He’s particularly energized by the opportunity to make clinical research as a care option (CRACO) a reality for more communities.
Outside of work, Karim finds inspiration in focus-driven activities like golf, swimming, and trail running—and in his biggest teacher: his curious and quick-witted 8-year-old daughter. His work philosophy is shaped by resilience and long-term thinking. “Do the hard things and play the long game,” he says. “Grit will take you further than pure smarts.”
Fun fact: Karim is Indo-African, born and raised in Tanzania. “While I’m Indian,” he jokes, “I still get lost in India.”
Join us in welcoming Karim to the Trial Library team!
